Great Location for Family Fun
We had a wonderful family getaway with the beach just steps away. Staff were welcoming, and enjoying the nearby boardwalk was a highlight. The pool was fun for the kids, but it got crowded quickly. For future guests, arrive early to snag beach tags without hassle.

I just returned from another stay at the Desert Palm Inn, and it was great as always. Check-in was smooth, and our room was ready early. It’s clean with a good-sized fridge, microwave, and plenty of storage. I appreciated the individual air conditioning that kept the room nice and cool. I loved sitting on the balcony with a morning coffee, watching the ocean. The pool was another highlight. I enjoyed my morning swims almost alone. The continental breakfast was sufficient, with coffee, bagels, and a waffle station. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach. It’s fantastic that they offer free beach badges for longer stays. However, I did notice a few areas needing attention. Some details in the bathroom could be cleaner, and there’s limited seating at breakfast during busy times. Noise from nearby rooms can be an issue. Raj and Das provided exceptional customer service, making us feel welcome. They really stand out in their roles. I plan to return, but I hope they consider some updates soon.

The pool was perfect for morning swims, and relaxing on the balcony with a drink was a highlight. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but it didn’t really dampen the good vibes. 🌊

We had an awesome time hanging out at the beach and exploring nearby attractions. The vibe was perfect for our group, and the location made it easy to hit the boardwalk or grab some food. Just keep in mind that the atmosphere can be a bit lively at night.
We did have one rough night with noise from other guests being quite loud, which made it hard to sleep. It was a real party scene that went on until early morning.

The room had a decent-sized fridge and a microwave, providing handy amenities for snacks and quick meals. A balcony area with a table and two chairs offered a perfect spot for morning coffee with a view, enhancing the experience of people-watching before heading out.
The bathroom had a towel rack ripped off the wall, which was a bit unsettling but not a total deal-breaker. Despite its proximity to the beach, the atmosphere felt rowdy due to several loud groups hanging around, and the noise sometimes lingered late into the night. Not being able to rely on a peaceful environment was disappointing, especially after a long day.

But honestly, four flies in the room? I didn’t know I’d booked a farm stay! Needs a little work, ladies.

Great free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception, but parking is a nightmare.

The room was across from the beach, which was a huge plus. The fridge and microwave were clean, and the vinyl flooring was nice—way better than gross carpets. But man, the flies and the dead mosquito on the lamp? Yikes! The shower curtain was disgusting, and the beds were super uncomfortable. I kept thinking about how overpriced it was for what we got. And the towels were thin and smelled weird. Wish it had been cleaner overall.

This place was a great fit for my brief visit. The rooms had a strong smoky smell, which made it hard to relax. I'd suggest checking the room before committing to a stay.
